POSITION SUMMARY:

The Quality Assurance (QA) Manager will oversee the activity of the quality assurance department and staff, developing, implementing, and maintaining a system of quality and reliability testing for the organizations products and/or development processes.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Other duties may be assigned beyond the core functions listed below.

  • Develops, implements, and manages processes to ensure that products meet required specifications for quality, function, and reliability prior to delivery.
  • Identifies and sets appropriate quality standards and parameters for products.
  • Communicates quality standards and parameters to QA team, product development team, and other appropriate staff.
  • Coordinate's product testing processes. Participates in product testing.
  • Identifies and analyzes issues, bugs, defects, and other problems, particularly when problems recur in multiple products; recommends and facilitates solutions to these issues.
  • Review's client, customer, and user feedback.
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, local, and organizational laws, regulations, guidelines, and policies.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

The incumbent reports to Plant Manager and has people handling responsibility for a team of 1 or more team members.

QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • BE/ BTech (Masters will be preferable) in Engineering 
  • Must have a minimum of 10~12 years? experience related field with supervisory experience a plus.

  • Proven leadership and management skills with the ability to optimize team performance and development
  • Excellent relationship management skills with the ability to engage, negotiate and manage key stakeholders and suppliers
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and influencing skills

  • Results orientated with ability to plan and deliver against project deadlines
  • Excellent business ethics and integrity

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Fair amount (approx. 20) of domestic travel is required.
