Summary:
The Labeling Specialist plays a key role in ensuring Hissho Sushi’s labeling systems are accurate, compliant, and aligned with brand and regulatory standards. This position supports daily and project-based labeling operations, manages the BOHA! system data, and collaborates cross-functionally to launch new products, promotions, and store openings.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, tech-savvy, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where accuracy, communication, and collaboration are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain BOHA! labeling systems across all store locations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve label or pricing issues quickly and accurately.
- Add, remove, or update items in the Price Dispensary and verify new store setup data.
- Maintain HACCP plans and variance letters to ensure full food safety compliance.
- Audit store-level data to ensure accurate pricing, descriptions, and label alignment.
- Provide system and labeling support to franchisees, store teams, and field operations.
- Process price changes and Temporary Price Reductions (TPRs) in coordination with retailer requests.
- Set up and deploy promotional and Limited-Time Offer (LTO) items.
- Manage label setup for store openings and closings.
- Launch new items and ensure proper labeling setup across all locations.
- Lead and support major labeling projects, including format transitions.
- Coordinate pricing updates for all locations following seasonal reopening periods.
- Collaborate with IT, Marketing, and Operations to implement labeling system improvements and new technology tools.
Requirements
- Associates degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field; or equivalent work experience.
- 2+ years of experience in product labeling, data management, or retail operations (food service preferred).
- Proficiency in BOHA! System Management, Microsoft Excel, and label design software, Revel POS system.
- Strong understanding of food labeling standards, pricing structures, and retailer compliance.
- Excellent organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in digital labeling workflows and data audits.
- Familiarity with product lifecycle management or ERP systems.
- Basic graphic design knowledge (e.g., Photoshop) for label formatting.
- Collaborative mindset with strong communication skills across departments.
