We are seeking a Civil Design Reviewer to join our team in Davie, Florida. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a wide range of local projects, from small-scale site developments to large infrastructure programs.

As a key member of our civil design team, you will be responsible for reviewing and supporting design efforts related to:

  • Paving, grading, and site layout
  • Drainage systems (hydrology and hydraulics)
  • Water and sewer utilities
  • Stormwater modeling and erosion control
  • Construction document review and QA/QC

You’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams through all phases of design, from concept to construction, ensuring technical accuracy and compliance with applicable standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review civil design plans and ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards
  • Provide technical guidance and quality assurance for design deliverables
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve design issues
  • Evaluate hydrologic and hydraulic models and provide feedback
  • Support permitting and regulatory documentation efforts
  • Assist in the development and improvement of design review processes
  • Mentor junior staff and contribute to team development
  • Participate in project meetings and provide input on design strategies

Here's what you'll need

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
  • 5–10 years of professional experience in civil site design and review
  • Strong understanding of local and international design standards
  • Experience with small, medium, and large-scale projects
  • Proficient in: AutoCAD Civil 3D, Excel, ICPR, XPSWMM, WaterCAD, or SewerCAD
  • Familiarity with construction drawings, specifications, and permitting processes
  • Ability to perform and review hydraulic and hydrologic modeling
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills

The base salary range for this position is $100,000.00 to $120,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
