Your Role

The End-to-End Business Technology & AI Transformation team is responsible for enabling, delivering and scaling operational enterprise technology automation and advanced AI tooling for critical programs and processes. The Strategic Planning and Performance, Principal will report to the Vice President of End-to-End Business Technology and AI Transformation. In this role you will be responsible for coordinating and conducting key activities for senior executives on major technology and operational programs and strategic initiatives that focus on process and operational advance technology enablement. Tasks include managing multiple aspects of financial planning, ROI tracking adherence as well as organizing and preparing program management KPI and deliverables for transformation priorities and initiatives.

Responsibilities

Your Work

In this role, you will:

  • Be responsible for planning and tracking complex programs and projects that span across different business areas across the enterprise and encompass multiple initiatives
  • Assist and track financial metrics, ROI program direction to ensure budgets are on target with programmatic deliverables, goals and objectives
  • Be responsible for facilitating and coordinating key components of annual strategic planning process, human capital planning, and ongoing critical financial planning initiatives
  • Work in conjunction and in partnership with financial partners, human resource teams and enterprise stakeholders to complete business planning and applicable forecasting
  • Lead the preparation and delivery of Board or Executive level meeting materials while successfully supporting multiple projects and guiding and tracking operational transformation initiatives and communications resulting in improved processes and workflows
  • Partner with health plan leaders for business planning and execution to track and ensure value for the health plan, health plan line of business markets and healthcare quality and affordability teams across the enterprise for business planning, forecasting and delivery
  • Drive optimization of operating models and business process flows by providing internal consultancy and leadership support and updates to stakeholders, executive steering committees, and lean agile center of excellence and other areas withing the Enterprise
  • Enable and deliver critical JIRA reporting and project updates for timely and insightful operational implementation tracking and deliverables
  • Build and scale productivity agents leveraging CoPilot and advance agent AI capabilities
  • Partner closely with the VP, End to End Business Technology and AI Transformation to ensure business unit communications, key highlights, critical news and updates are shared through Blue Shield standards to maintain exposure and provide updates on achievements including leader inhouse and external communication channels

Qualifications

Your Knowledge and Experience

  • Requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Requires at least 10 years of prior relevant experience
  • Must be highly skilled in Power Point, Excel and Executive level storytelling including proficiency with video composition creation tools and social media communication channels
  • Must be skilled in CoPilot for AI agent creation and task query and must be JIRA reporting proficient
  • Health Plan and Healthcare Operations related experience preferred
  • Must be highly proficient in managing multiple complex, critical and timely activities with shifting priorities and timebound criteria
  • Must be located in Bay Area with the ability to work in Oakland, San Francisco, Marin County and other Bay Area locations
