The Assistant Manager, Supply Chain supports the planning, coordination, and execution of supply chain operations to ensure efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery of goods. This role collaborates with suppliers, internal teams, and logistics partners to optimize inventory, streamline processes, and uphold quality standards.

The Assistant Manager, Supply Chain supports the planning, coordination, and execution of supply chain operations to ensure efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery of goods. This role collaborates with suppliers, internal teams, and logistics partners to optimize inventory, streamline processes, and uphold quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing and implementing supply chain strategies aligned with business goals
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment to avoid stockouts or overstock
  • Liaise with suppliers and vendors to maintain strong relationships and resolve issues
  • Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement
  • Support procurement planning, production scheduling, and logistics coordination
  • Ensure compliance with import/export regulations and internal policies
  • Lead or support continuous improvement initiatives across supply chain functions
  • Prepare reports and dashboards for senior management review

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
  • 3–5 years of experience in supply chain or logistics roles
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in supply chain software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Excel)
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities
  • Experience with vendor management and cross-functional collaboration

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of international logistics and compliance
  • Experience in manufacturing or retail environments
  • Familiarity with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies
