Hours: Full time 35 hours per week
Location: Stratford, London. Office-based with high flexibility (1-2 days per week in the office)

Cancer Research UK’s Internal Communications Team is part of our Communications department within the Policy, Information & Communication directorate. They collaborate across the organisation to manage and deliver internal communications for our 4,000 office staff and network of stores across the UK, providing strategic communications advice and developing high-impact campaigns, compelling content, and engaging activities to ensure colleagues and shop volunteers are informed, engaged and inspired.
We’re looking for an Internal Communications Officer to provide sabbatical cover within our Trading Internal Communications team. In this role, you’ll play an impactful role in the planning and delivery of engaging content across a range of internal platforms used by our stores and shop volunteers (e.g. intranet, email, newsletters, and SharePoint) in support of our organisational, trading, and internal communications strategies. This will involve managing weekly communications channels and leading on bespoke communications campaigns and projects in collaboration with a range of stakeholders and teams from beginning to end, while using data and feedback to evaluate our internal impact and drive improvements.
