As an Indirect Sourcing Team Lead you would be responsible for Leading a 4-6 member Team, Key Stakeholder Management in India and Abroad, effective Management of RFQ process with knowledge of Continuous process improvement and Project Management.

Experienced Commodity / Account Management & Strategic Sourcing professional. Establishes sourcing goals and acceptable service levels. Responsible for negotiating and administering contracts and analyzing price proposals to enhance price, quality, timing and reliability of supply.
Job Description:
Sets negotiation terms for the procurement of goods, services, and supplies.
Executes Supply Chain strategies.
Establish sourcing goals and acceptable service levels.
Negotiates and administers contracts with suppliers, vendors, and other representatives.
Analyzes price proposals, financial reports, and other data and information to determine reasonable prices.
Evaluates vendors' capability, quality, reliability, and price competitiveness.
Identifies and conducts research on suppliers to ensure that the organization's standards of price, quality, timing, and reliability of supply are met.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelors Degree from a premier institute is a must, MBA preferred.
10-12 years of supply chain management experience, exposure to CoE environment essential
A minimum of 5 years prior relevant experience.
OR
An advanced degree in a related field and a minimum of 3 years' experience.
Strong sourcing knowledge
Should have managed a team of 4-10 direct reports.
Ability to work in a global environment with global stakeholders across multiple countries.
Strategic thinking- ability to think through and independently define priorities.
Role Responsibilities:
A. Core Sourcing knowledge
Knowledge and exposure to Indirect categories, cost reduction, sourcing, best practice RFQ’s, negotiation process thereby guiding team to drive best outcomes for Carrier.
Strong exposure in cost estimation, negotiations
Should have worked directly in analyzing Total Cost of Ownership of products/services
Hands on experience in working on spend data to drive actionable insights for spend category
Should have experience driving initiatives for indirect categories to enable productivity.
