Pharmacist - Night Shift

Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented pharmacist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about long term care, patient care, medication safety, and advancing pharmacy practice through innovative solutions. This role is based in a closed-door pharmacy setting that exclusively serves long-term care facilities.

Key Responsibilities

Accurately dispense prescription medications and verify dosages.

Provide patient counseling on medication use, side effects, and interactions.

Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to optimize therapeutic outcomes.

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company regulations.

Monitor inventory levels and manage medication storage.

Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement programs.

Support clinical initiatives and specialty pharmacy services as needed.

Qualifications

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited institution.

Active pharmacist license in the State of Ohio

Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical care and clinical guidelines.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Experience with pharmacy management systems and electronic health records preferred.

Preferred Skills

Experience in long term care pharmacies, or closed door pharmacies.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $68.00 - $72.00/hr.
