Do you possess proven project management skills and are you passionate about creative product design?

As our new Senior Design Coordinator, you get to collaborate closely cross-franchise with Design and Lead Teams, understanding and supporting the creative aspirations and coordinating project deliverables.

Core Responsibilities

In this role you will play a crucial role in supporting a dynamic design team in the conceptualization and development process of our products. Your primary responsibility will be to streamline and run the administrative aspects of the design projects, allowing designers and Creative Leads to concentrate on their creative process and tasks. Examples of tasks:

  • Coordinate and maintain a clear structure of product information in the project repository (e.g. in SharePoint, Teams, etc) so all relevant drivers can access the assets (product pictures, product information, IP values, etc) with ease
  • Organize and run assets retrievals for new concepts
  • Organize and facilitate DIY Kids Play Tests, document and report observations to the Design Team in a structured and user-friendly way
  • Collect, consolidate and share consumer insights – including NPS data
  • Continuously assess and optimize documentation workflows to improve overall team efficiency and identify process improvement opportunities

Our LEGO Design Organization consists of a dynamic, creative, and collaborative culture. No two projects are the same, and they all require different needs and expertise.

The goal of this role is to contribute to the project teams, so that all can continue to deliver an outstanding portfolio, providing children endless play opportunities.

You will join a large international design team in Billund (Denmark), counting more than 600 creatives from various backgrounds, who are all passionate about the impact of play.

No relocation assistance is offered for this position.

Do you have what it takes?

Design understanding:

  • Passion for and good understanding of design and creativity, with a deep appreciation for the impact of well-executed design for the end-users

Design operations management:

  • A proactive mentality to foresee potential challenges and take initiative to address them before they become problems.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with various departments and partners, bridging the gap between creative and non-creative teams

Customer focus:

  • Curiosity in understanding the consumer through documentation and testing as well as understanding the internal customers in the project (creatives)
  • Experience creating insights reports and overviews and communicating the outcome

Project management:

  • Strong project management experience, with the ability to structure and handle design projects
  • Meticulous attention to details to ensure accuracy in project documentation, timelines and design specifications
