About the Role** As a Global Strategic Sr. Operations Manager on the Uber Direct Strategic Operations team, you'll lead global initiatives that improve merchant operations and power growth at scale. This role is responsible for turning operational challenges into structured strategies, aligning stakeholders across regions and functions, and delivering solutions that scale globally while meeting local needs. **What You'll Do** - **Guide product planning and prioritization** across countries to connect market realities with our business strategy and product offerings. - **Implement scalable global strategies** by synthesizing regional efforts and aligning teams on unified frameworks that balance local needs with global priorities. - **Lead special projects** to solve emerging global challenges—owning everything from problem structuring and data analysis to strategy development, stakeholder alignment, and cross-functional implementation. - **Connect market insights** across regions to spot patterns, share learnings, and help local teams adopt and scale solutions more effectively. - **Track and analyse key operational KPIs** to identify trends and root causes, and proactively recommend and implement solutions. **Basic Qualifications** - 5 years of experience in strategy, operations, or analytics within high-growth or matrixed environments. - Bachelor's Degree **Preferred Qualifications** - Experience with merchant ecosystems, pricing/billing systems, or CRMs is a plus - 7 years of experience in strategy, operations, or analytics within high-growth or matrixed environments - Proven ability to drive ambiguous, cross-functional projects from design through global implementation - Strong analytical skills and comfort working with data to discover and surface insights - Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders across regions For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$129,000 per year - USD$143,000 per year. You will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp. You will also be eligible for various benefits.
