Akkodis is seeking an Engineer for a Contract with a client in Edison, NJ/Morristown, NJ. Candidates must have strong functional testing experience and banking domain expertise to design and execute test plans for APIs, portals, and backend systems.

Rate Range: $45/hour to $49/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Engineer job responsibilities include:

• Design and execute functional and regression test plans for APIs, web portals, and backend systems to ensure software quality.
• Validate file formats (XML, JSON, CSV) and perform data mapping and reconciliation across integrated systems.
• Write and run complex SQL queries to verify backend data integrity and support database testing.
• Test banking workflows including account creation, fund transfers, loan processing, and transaction reconciliation.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations such as KYC, AML, and SOX through thorough testing and documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business flows into test scenarios and support UAT activities.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 6–8 years of hands-on QA experience.
• Must have strong functional testing expertise, especially in API and Portal UI testing.
• Mandatory experience in the banking domain, including workflows like transaction processing and compliance validation.

Pay Details: $45.00 to $49.00 per hour
