Core Responsibilities

Your mission will be to support our internal element data needs to the business and ensure it is managed and distributed to part of a broader ecosystem of products that delivers boxes to shelves, Marketing, Gaming and much more. You will have a pivotal role to drive the vison and scope of your product along with your Lead Engineer and Product designer. Together, you will be responsible for defining the ‘why’, what,’ and ‘when’ of the product that the product team will help enabling and building the solutions to allow our stakeholders to deliver to LEGO strategic priorities and portfolio. The areas of responsibilities will include:

  • Roadmap Support: Contribute to the product roadmap for a unified digital ecosystem that addresses digital rendering needs across various partners.
  • Partner Coordination: Collaborate with partners and related product teams to align efforts.
  • Integration Coordination: Work with other products and partners on tooling and infrastructure for LEGO element data creation, storage, and distribution.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Engage with design, engineering, and compliance teams to integrate solutions into the broader product ecosystem.
  • User Insights & Quality: Gather input from partners and users to prioritize initiatives and ensure LEGO element data meets distribution and ingestion requirements.
  • Delivery & Compliance Support: Define requirements, track delivery against objectives and key results, and assist in developing compliance tools for real-time insights into LEGO Element data usage.

As a Product Manager in the “Digital Element Design – Management & Distribution” team, you will be part of an established product team working on critical Digital element Storage, maturation and distribution solutions that will be used by various internal and external downstream products to enable such diverse needs as our Printed & Digital building instructions, Internal Digital design Tools, Photoreal marketing material, Gaming needs and digital needs for automation and AI.

You will be working closely with partners to ensure alignment on Product Vision, Strategy and Outcomes including senior leadership. You will be joining a diverse Product Management Innovation Enablement Team with colleagues all on a common mission to elevate how we can responsibly design and make LEGO products and branded content for the future.

Please note: The position is based in Billund. Our flexible working model allows employees to work 2 days/week from home (3 days in the office). Relocation support is not offered for this role!

Do you have what it takes?

  • Extensive experience in Product Management and Agile methodologies.
  • Expertise in digital product development and data management principles.
  • Excellent communication and partner management skills, translating technical concepts into user-friendly solutions.
  • Strong leadership ability to guide cross-functional teams toward shared goals.
  • Skilled in translating product vision and user insights into actionable priorities.
  • Passion for innovation with a deep knowledge of software development and a desire to explore new technologies.

Preferred attributes:

  • Experience in organizations with complex IT environments and strong data analytics capabilities.
  • Background in cloud infrastructure product development and data pipeline tooling.
  • Skilled in creating and working with Objectives and Key Results (OKRs).
  • Proficient in using JIRA for project management and familiar with PowerBI and SQL for reporting.
  • Experience in 3D graphics, animation, and visualization technologies.
  • Knowledge of relevant tools like Maya, 3ds Max, Houdini, Blender, and game engines like Unreal Engine or Unity.
