Join our international Credit Controllers team, consisting of 9 team players, as a proactive Credit Controller. In this role your primary focus will be the cash collection of our customers in the UK and German speaking countries, where you will maintain a positive relationship. Additionally, as part of the team, you'll contribute to the overall cash collection efforts of the other European countries.

The Credit Controller reports directly to the Team Leader Credit Controllers and works at our European Headquarters in Amersfoort.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform collection activities such as sending reminders, calling customers and answering questions to ensure invoices are paid according to payment terms
  • Administrate the collection activities in the credit management system
  • Monitor the daily volume of credit holds and release orders according to the policies
  • Propose and monitor payment plans
  • Request credit reports in order to determine the customer’s credit risk level
  • Interact with sales force, customer service and other internal departments to build strong relationships to ensure customer invoicing needs are being met
  • Prepare standard reports to meet the customer and business requirements

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and German
  • Good knowledge of MS Office, specifically Excel
  • Experience in an administrative or accounting position is preferred
  • Work experience in an international business-to-business environment is preferred
  • Experience with SAP and with EDI is preferred
