The Director of Communications evaluates guest developments, market conditions, competitors’ data, and marketing strategy. S/he observes market intelligence and suggests appropriate sales strategies for Food and Beverage products. S/he leads in managing the delivery of the marketing plan for Food and Beverage outlets working along with key internal and external key players.
S/he manages the public relations and creative output consistently according the company standards. S/he creates original content for promotional campaigns across various platforms like websites, social media channels, etc. S/he also surveys the local and global market trends and ideas to impact the hotel recognition.
The Director of Communications must be proactive, organized, and self-driven. S/he must have strong leadership skills, excellent analytical capabilities, and outstanding proven marketing performance. S/he must be a role model and leads the team with commitment. S/he must also be attentive to guests and colleagues needs.
S/he is required to have a minimum of 2 years work experience in the same capacity (preferably in a luxury hotel). She must be a diploma/degree holder in mass communications or marketing management with excellent command in English (Arabic language would be an added value). Qatar market experience and social media skills are an added advantage.
