Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our technology team.
The ideal candidate will have an MBA in Information Technology or Business Analytics and a strong understanding of how to bridge business needs with technical solutions.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with global stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to define business requirements, design process improvements,
and deliver scalable IT solutions aligned with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document detailed business and functional requirements.
- Translate business objectives into clear specifications including Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Specification Documents (FSD), and User Stories.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings to elicit requirements, define scope, and align expectations between business and IT teams.
- Support the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) — from requirement analysis through design, testing, deployment, and post-implementation review.
- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives).
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by developing test scenarios, tracking defects, and validating fixes.
- Prepare and maintain process flow diagrams, use case models, and data mapping documents using tools such as Lucidchart or Visio.
- Work closely with US-based teams to support global project initiatives and ensure seamless communication across time zones.
- Partner with developers, QA engineers, and project managers to ensure technical solutions meet business expectations.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation using ERP or analytics tools.
- Produce high-quality documentation, reports, and presentations for management and stakeholders.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- MBA or equivalent degree in Information Technology, Systems, or Business Analytics.
- 6+ years of experience as a Senior Business Analyst in enterprise or technology-driven environments.
- Strong understanding of business processes and ability to map them to system capabilities.
- Experience with ERP systems especially Manufacturing domain (Infor M3, SAP, Oracle, etc.), SQL, APIs, or data analytics tools is an advantage.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and SDLC best practices.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and collaboration tools like JIRA and Confluence.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
- Hands-on project experience in Business Analysis, Process Configuration, and Quote-to-Cash or Procure-to-Pay domains.
- Experience in process modeling tools and creating UML diagrams.
- Exposure to Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ) workflows.
- Experience in data-driven decision-making using Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent tools.
- Certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, or PMI-PBA are a plus.
