Job Description

We have an opportunity for an Intern Sales Operations Specialist to join us at Honeywell, in Bucharest, where you will assist in preparing and presenting weekly, monthly and quarterly rolling revenue forecast, support revenue objectives and participate in proactive, cross-functional management of inventory investments / assets.

This role is part of our University Relations program, designed to help students and recent graduates launch their careers with hands-on experience, mentorship, and opportunities for growth within Honeywell

This is a hybrid role, 3 days at the office + 2 days work from home model.

The internship will last for 12 months.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist in prepare and present weekly, monthly, and quarterly rolling revenue forecast for the Supporting Selling Team
  • Provide back up and support for Sales team on all SFDC related requirements
  • Support the centralized forecast team with weekly forecast process validating integrity of data in SFDC and Pipeline Hygiene
  • Preparation, coordination, execution and timely distribution of various reports to management and regional teams as needed
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and work with Commercial Excellence team to develop corrective actions
  • Support with regional escalations and Coordinate with the other functions (Supply Chain/ Marketing/ Customer Support) to support and drive the analytical insights and actions for Europe Sales Organization
  • Demonstrates a strong commitment to ownership of issues until resolution
  • Create regular internal reports, manage historical sales data and improve processes to allow real time sales decisions
  • Regularly employs solid problem-solving skills by performing independent analysis of data from several sources, and devising appropriate solutions within broadly defined parameters
  • Support revenue objectives by acting as the liaison between the selling team and all functions within the SPS/ PSS organization, including SIOP
  • Improve existing or create new reports and dashboards as required for continuous improvement, using digital tools (for ex. Tableau)
  • Preparation, coordination, execution and timely distribution of various reports to management and regional teams as needed
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and work with Commercial Excellence team to develop corrective actions

Key skills and qualifications

  • 3rd year student at Bachelor’s Degree or at Master
  • Advanced English skills
  • High level of MS office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)Excellent communication, presentations and reporting skills
  • High level of customer orientation
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills (phone, mail, email)
  • Ability to build relationships and networks in a virtual team and highly matrix environment
  • Demonstrated solution-oriented, pro-active “can do” attitude, Willingness and ability to work under own initiative
  • Self-motivated with assertive communication skills, positive and result oriented attitude
