Toll Brothers, America’s leading builder of luxury homes seeks a Strategic Business Analytics Director for our Corporate office located in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania.

What is the opportunity?

This position will be hybrid with 4 days required on-site.

The Strategic Business Analytics Director is responsible for managing the Reporting & Data Analytics CoE which focuses on governing, improving, innovating, and supporting the reporting and data analytic endeavors of the company. They will primarily lead the strategy, development, and implementation of data analytics and reporting solutions across the organization. This role will serve as a conduit/translator to collaborate with senior leadership and technical leads to foster a data-driven culture, ensuring the organization effectively leverages reporting/data as a strategic asset.

What are the primary responsibilities?

  • Lead the CoE to drive the strategic vision that aligns with business goals and objectives
  • Drive overall organizational Business Intelligence transformation; transitioning from the current tool, building out an adoption plan for the new tool, and establishing a formal training plan for the new tool
  • Review reporting and data requests that come in, determine the best tool & team to support requests
  • Oversee the design, development, and deployment of advanced data analytics and reporting solutions across the company
  • Help to establish data governance standards to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security across reporting and analytics platforms
  • Present data-driven insights and recommendations to senior leadership to inform strategic business decisions
  • Constantly strive towards innovation and improvement of current reporting technologies
  • Support the selection and implementation of new tools for reporting and data analytics initiatives and set proper expectations on data validation and avoid redundancies
  • Prepare regular status reports and provide updates to executive leadership on key projects, analytics initiatives, and achievements
  • Establish a network of innovators and high-performers in the company for knowledge sharing
  • All other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Excellent communication skills and experience translating business language to technical requirements
  • Strong finance and reporting background
  • Excellent analytical, mathematical, and creative problem-solving skills
  • Logical and efficient, with keen attention to detail
  • Great at multi-tasking with strong time-management skills
  • Ability to interface effectively with multiple departments and senior management
  • Capacity to understand the business on a holistic level, ranging from corporate functions to operations
  • Willing to learn new systems and applications

Do you have these qualifications?

  • Essential:
    • Bachelor's Degree in accounting, finance, or related field of study
    • Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience
    • Working knowledge of homebuilding operations and reporting
    • Strong background in data visualization, reporting, and advanced analytics
    • Quantitative and analytical skills, financial modeling experience a plus
    • Demonstrated analytical, leadership, and interpersonal skills
  • Preferred:
    • Experience with data discovery and analysis platforms
    • Familiarity in ERP systems, specifically Oracle E1 or JDE World
    • Familiarity in BI systems, specially Qlik, Tableau or PowerBI
    • Workable knowledge in data structures and architecture
