Position: Manager, Advanced Analytics
Job Location: 221 River Street, Hoboken, NJ 07030
Duties: Work with large, disparate datasets to measure Customer Data & Identity (CDI) team’s KPIs and conduct strategic analyses to inform critical business decisions. Develop a detailed understanding of store operations, store initiatives and business impact of the initiatives. Work with various customer experience and engineering stakeholders to understand the business problems, compile requirements, assess the data strategy, and propose a solution. Identify strategic areas of opportunity and provide recommendations to senior leaders by analyzing business metrics and extracting insights. Work with various data and analytics teams to help build reports and develop analyses to support KPI monitoring and improve and expand the initiatives. Work collaboratively with cross-functional peers and represent CDI as the data strategy expert. Identify and pursue opportunities to improve CDI data capabilities and process. This position does not supervise employees.
Minimum education and experience required: Master’s degree or equivalent in Business, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Analytics (any), or related field; OR Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Analytics (any), or related field and 2 years of experience in data analytics or related field.
Skills required: Experience querying and forming base data sources using SQL and PostgreSQL. Experience cleaning, manipulating, and analyzing data using SQL and GCP. Experience with data transformation and visualization using Tableau and Excel. Experience simplifying complex data into actionable solutions for business teams. Experience with Project Management and end-to-end ownership of projects. Experience developing metrics and validating data that align with KPIs. Experience transforming data to form and presenting business strategies. Experience with customer cohorting based on customer demographic and purchase behavior. Experience partnering with data teams cross functionally to align with business requirements for automation and dashboarding. Experience partnering with cross-functional teams to align on top shared KPIs for the business. Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills.
Salary Range: $109,491/year to $186,000/year. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include: Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location) and Stock equity incentives.
