Demonstrates the ability to prepare IV Admixtures according to policy. Demonstrates competency in using Pyxis 3000. Demonstrates the ability to accurately generate fill and interim lists in WORx. Demonstrates the ability to complete tasks associated with the employee prescription program. Demonstrates the ability to effectively use the WORX and HBOC systems. Demonstrates the ability to process and dispense individual medication orders. Handles controlled substances in accordance with New Jersey and Federal Laws. Demonstrates competency in performing purchasing functions. Performs technical and supportive duties for the pharmacy.
Education: High school diploma or equivalency.
Experience: Current pharmacy technician certification (CPhT) or acquire CPhT within 12 months of employment. Current NJ Board of Pharmacy Registration or acquire the registration within 6 months of employment.
Knowledge and Skills :Basic computer and mathematical skills.
