A Day in the Life

The Creative Media & Design Specialist (2D) focuses on creating visually compelling static graphics that support marketing campaigns, executive presentations, and brand communications. This role involves producing a high volume of image variations, designing assets for PowerPoint decks, and collaborating with peers to develop consistent visual strategies.

As part of a collaborative design team, the specialist will participate in creative brainstorming and contribute to the overall visual identity of the brand.

This is a remote position. Candidates will need to reside in Colombia to be considered.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • Conceive, design, lay out, and coordinate editorial illustrations and creative artwork (assets and deliverables)
  • Develop interpretive themes to convey ideas and information
  • Create graphic presentations that communicate mood, emphasis, insight, and viewpoint
  • Provide guidance on graphic technology
  • Collaborate with internal contacts to create cost-efficient designs
  • Provide computer graphic services for print/web/outdoor artwork
  • May oversee reproduction and printing processes via in-house or external vendors
  • Manage third-party design agencies and consultants
  • Handle account management, traffic coordination, quality assurance, and budget management
  • Collaborate with internal clients to develop brand-right, print, digital, and interactive materials
  • Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality work on time and on budget

Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual communications, or motion design
  • Five or more years of agency/in-house experience in design
  • Strong English proficiency (oral and written)
  • Expert in Adobe Creative Suite
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Strong understanding of brand style guides
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong eye for detail and passion for high-quality visual experiences

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Healthcare industry or creative agency experience
  • Experience translating complex information into engaging visuals
