Overview

Partner with clinical and administrative staff to optimize the use of EMRs and institutional databases through training, support, and workflow guidance. Translates user needs into practical solutions by designing and developing customized clinical information system applications.

Responsibilities

  • Provides mentorship to Applications Analyst I staff and facilitates knowledge sharing across the team.
  • Installs, configures, upgrades, and supports applications and components while ensuring proper documentation and system integrity.
  • Collaborates with end users to analyze business and clinical needs, interpret requirements, and design optimal workflow solutions.
  • Develops and executes test plans for new systems, upgrades, and modifications; reviews testing outcomes for accuracy and completeness.
  • Participates in meetings, training sessions, and go-live support activities to ensure successful implementation and user adoption.
  • Troubleshoots and resolves moderately complex system issues, recommends process improvements, and provides on-call and ongoing support.
  • Performs physical requirements of the role, including lifting, pushing, pulling, and standing as needed, while adhering to organizational competencies and standards of behavior.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of IT and/or clinical experience.
  • Solid working knowledge of relevant subject matter.
  • Able to work independently and manage time effectively with minimal supervision.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Outlook.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Creates and maintains clear, concise documentation.
  • Collaborates effectively with team members across the department.
  • Demonstrates initiative and self-direction.

Pay Range

USD $96,716.00 - USD $109,606.00 /Yr.
