Job Description Summary
This role offers an enriching life sciences laboratory/office with GMP lab environment(s) split across multiple facilities in Minneapolis and Saint Paul. There are many opportunities for professional growth, allowing employees to continually expand their skill set while tackling diverse challenges. Standard operating procedures, documentation, and overall processes are required parts of this role that will be executed using a company provided laptop, phone, and/or tablet. The exposure to various advanced HVAC systems and cutting-edge technologies fosters expertise development making it an excellent platform for career advancement in the field. A typical Monday – Friday shift is 6am-2:30pm (preferred) or 9:30am-6:00pm or other mutually agreed upon shift prior to hiring. The inclusion of paid on-call shifts at least once every 4 or 5 weeks adds an extra layer of compensation, recognizing the dedication and responsiveness required to address emergency situations. Occasional, scheduled after hours work is required. Moreover, working in a large facility comes with a collaborative atmosphere, encouraging knowledge sharing among peers and the opportunity to work with multidisciplinary teams. A typical day may involve HVAC PM’s, lighting replacement, and plumbing repairs. Overall, being part of such an environment offers a stimulating and rewarding experience for HVAC professionals seeking both personal and professional development. There are opportunities for advancement once the appropriate licenses are obtained. A boilers license preferred and we offer tuition reimbursement for a boiler test preparation class and the exam costs upon receiving a successful, passing score within 3 months of hire. This property offers many opportunities to learn and assist in maintaining the Niagara 4 HVAC BAS system and after 1 year of employment Niagara 4 Operator and/or Certification class would be provided. Responsible to assist with the operation troubleshooting, diagnostics, housekeeping, and repairs on commercial buildings, industrial systems, vehicles, grounds, and maintenance equipment for assigned properties/facilities.

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

The compensation for the position is: $23.61 - $27.78
