Schedule: Monday-Friday (8AM-5PM)

Key Responsibilities

  • Use agile methodologies to determine client eligibility, ensuring compliance with program protocols.
  • Verify client eligibility, ensuring no other payer sources like Medicaid or Medicare are available.
  • Efficiently register clients into the CPCDMS using the latest technology.
  • Ensure precise completion of paperwork, optimizing digital entry for eligible clients.
  • Maintain up-to-date eligibility files using a data-driven approach.
  • Manage renewal eligibility processes, ensuring seamless client support.
  • Coordinate eligibility appointments and initial service scheduling.
  • Provide clients with comprehensive lists of required documentation.
  • Participate actively in our Performance Improvement Program.
  • Promote a culture of respect and dignity for all patients and employees.
  • Collaborate effectively within dynamic team environments.
  • Engage in safety training and adhere to safety protocols.
  • Maintain workspace and technology standards in alignment with Legacy's high standards.
  • Implement strategic exposure control plans for health safety.
  • Master protective barrier equipment and procedures.
  • Commit to annual educational advancements.
  • Flexibly travel for training and coverage, embracing continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED with a foundation in medical knowledge.
  • Preferably 3-5 years of experience in medical billing.
  • Training or background in ICD-A / CPT codes for precise billing.
  • Proficiency in bookkeeping and accounting with a tech-savvy approach.
  • Hands-on experience with digital systems and office technology.
  • Proven ability to take initiative and perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bilingual capabilities preferred to support diverse community engagement.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and billing practices.
