Enservio provides services that help adjusters and claims professionals solve one of the biggest issues in property insurance – quantifying and valuing what’s inside a policyholder’s home. We minimize back and forth with our customer by providing them the most accurate settlement reports to aid in their Content Claim process.

The Role

Enservio is looking for a Computers and Electronics Specialist to appraise unique items in the mid-range value falling under the broad category of Computers, Electronics and Appliances (including but not limited to computers hardware, accessories, servers, telecom equipment, networking equipment, office systems - fax, copier, printer, scanner, etc, POS systems, screen/garment printing, washers, dryers, refrigerators). You would primarily research the retail replacement value of items for insurance purposes. Many assignments require the Specialist to identify additional details for the Claim Manager or Specialist to obtain prior to valuation. You must be confident in your research and willing to defend your findings if called into question. No prior insurance experience is required, but you will need to gain an understanding of the insurance claims process and become well versed in our SaaS platform, Contents Express, to effectively serve our customers. The role requires collaboration with your fellow Specialists and other individuals within the Enservio organization.

  • Log time for customer billing and utilization tracking and be mindful of budgeting
  • Collaborate with your peers for research assistance and review purposes
  • Respond appropriately and professionally to both internal and external stakeholders
  • Be prepared to defend your work

What You’ll Bring

  • 3-5+ years’ relevant work experience working with Computers and Electronics
  • Knowledge of Computers, Electronics, Appliances a must. Knowlege of Medical equipment helpful.
  • Bachelors degree preferred
  • Professional appraisal certification a plus
  • Research skills – knowledge of available electronics and computer resources and on-line pricing databases; a passion for tracking down information

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong listening, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Effective time management
