How you will make an impact: Crane Currency, a maker of banknotes for central banks around the world and an industry leader in micro-optics technology, is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager for our rapidly growing Alpharetta, Georgia site, supporting approximately 85 hourly and 45 salaried employees. You will provide a broad range of HR services including employee relations, recruitment, performance management, learning and development, organizational effectiveness, and some compensation and benefits administration. This is a hands-on role where you will partner with site and HR leadership to foster a high-performance culture and drive continuous improvement. Your expertise will help shape the employee experience and support our mission of innovation and excellence.

  • Serve as HR site leader of Alpharetta, reporting to the Director of HR (Nashua, NH).
  • Partner with site and HR leadership to promote a high-performance culture.
  • Manage the full employee lifecycle: recruitment, onboarding, engagement, retention, and exit.
  • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR matters.
  • Coach managers on performance management and development.
  • Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies.
  • Support organizational effectiveness and drive employee engagement.

Knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Organizational Development, Business, or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of progressive HR generalist experience.
  • Proven success in onboarding and selection at all levels.
  • Strong employee relations and counseling experience.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience with HRIS systems.

Preferred:

  • Microsoft Office Advanced Excel and AI/data analysis skills.
  • Manufacturing experience.
  • Analytical skills for data-driven decision-making.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of state and federal employment law.
  • Sound judgment, discretion, flexibility, and integrity.
  • Professional Certifications (SHRM, Six Sigma, PMP, Data Analytics, AI, etc.)
