Campbellfield Factory | Full Time | Permanent | Day Shift

Position Summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic and hardworking team member for the permanent full time Warehouse Operator role at Campbellfield on Day shift.

A day in the life…

You will be responsible for, and have the ability to deliver in the following areas:

  • Controlling dock operations send direct onsite truck drivers to appropriate un/loading doors/docks and driver exclusion zones (when Required)
  • Prior to unloading, inspect vehicle for adherence to the Nestle Campbellfield Logistics and Quality standards and escalate as necessary (when required)
  • Ensure documentation and procedures comply with requirements stipulated in forms and processes (i.e. pallets, invoices, materials inbound and outbound, etc)
  • Provide assistance in un/loading of vehicles and containers and picking product from the racking system via forklift (when required
  • Receipt material into and out of warehouse maintaining traceability by following correct procedures to maintain a creditable account of inventory
  • Sampling of materials listed on the sampling list
  • Works to shift operational plans including KPI charts at Shift Hand Over and responds to customer requirements in a timely manner
  • Assists in inventory management activities end-to-end including pallet / pallecon physical stocktakes, material stocktakes / cycle counts, record and action anomalies and input data as appropriate
  • Work safely and within the guidelines of site work instructions including forklift interactions
  • Develop an aptitude for problem solving and work effectively with minimal supervision
  • Identify non-conformances and report issues promptly to Line Manager
  • Adhere to hygiene and housekeeping requirements
  • Understand and adhere to any additional requirements required of TGA GMP in the role
  • Upload daily stock on hand report to hard copy and excel; spreadsheet in the event of BCP being enacted
  • Manage the return of material to suppliers
  • Help coordinate the secure disposal of materials
  • Perform necessary workplace inspections – racking inspections, cycle counts, monthly workplace inspections, daily health checks, product inspections, etc
  • Undertake duties performed by other functions, improvement work as needed
