Role & Responsibilities :

  • As part of a cross-functional team, you will be responsible for evaluating systems and customer facing functionality, along with creating test strategies and test cases to assess quality for Plivo’s API platform
  • Understanding user stories (Requirement understanding)
  • Writing test plan and understanding of agile software development and how QA integrates with the entire process.
  • Performing functional and feature testing, regression testing, API testing(Postman and automation)
  • Raising defects, triage and getting them resolved in a timely manner.
  • Research, recommend and implement tools as needed with the goal of increasing automation.
  • Proactively bringing issues and problems to the attention of the team, proposing and implementing innovative solutions to solve them.
  • Be meticulous about documentation and maintaining a robust log of all test cases and test results.

Requirements :

  • 2-4 years of experience in Software testing and automation.
  • Good programming and logical skills.
  • Strong background in and at least 1+ years of experience in QA automation.
  • Thorough understanding of SDLC, specifically automated QA processes in agile development environments.
  • Experience in writing, executing and monitoring automated test suites using a variety of technologies. 
  • Identify and test for functional ‘edge cases’ outside the expected workflow.
  • Good team player.
