About this Position
As a Digital Business Analyst, you will help shape the digital future of Henkel Adhesive Technologies R&D by bridging the gap between business needs and IT delivery. You will work at the heart of the AIDA (Adhesives Innovation Digital Agenda) program, driving digital innovation, ecosystem integration, and data-enabled decision-making. Your role combines process and user research, structured backlog management, agile project delivery, and stakeholder engagement across global teams.
What you´ll do
- Translate business needs into actionable user stories and maintain a prioritized, value-driven product backlog
- Gather and structure digital requirements from global R&D and product development teams, ensuring alignment with process design
- Represent the user perspective by identifying pain points, tracking adoption, and continuously improving the user experience (UX)
- Collaborate with IT and tool owner teams to ensure delivery feasibility and strategic alignment
- Lead Agile/Scrum or SAFe ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and review sessions
- Map and optimize tool interactions, interfaces, and data flows across Henkel’s digital R&D ecosystem
- Drive system enhancements based on user feedback, operational needs, and support FAIR data principles and tool standardization
- Promote digital transformation by inspiring global R&D teams around modern tools, smart data usage, and the impact of AI while ensuring clear communication and documentation for stakeholders
What makes you a good fit
- Bachelor or Master degree in IT or a related field
- 5-7 years experience as a Digital Business Analyst or UX Consultant, ideally in R&D, manufacturing, or chemical industry context
- Strong experience in Agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe) and digital project delivery
- Skilled in translating complex processes into clear user stories, workflows, and strategic roadmaps
- Effective communicator across technical and business audiences, with familiarity in digital R&D tools like Planview, ELN/LIMS, or formulation software
- Fluent English skills
