Job Description
As a Chef de Partie specializing in Italian Specialty, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of Italian section to ensure the highest standards of quality, taste, and presentation. You will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, organized kitchen environment, ensuring that all culinary preparations are executed with precision, and supporting the sous chef with the daily operations of the kitchen.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, cook, and present Italian cuisine with attention to traditional recipes, techniques, and presentation.
- Ensure all dishes from the Italian section are prepared in a timely manner and meet quality standards
- Assist in menu development and creation of new Italian dishes under the guidance of the Executive/Sous Chef.
- Maintain consistency in taste, texture, and appearance of dishes across service periods.
- Oversee and manage a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring food is prepared and presented to the highest standard.
- Monitor inventory levels for your section and order supplies as necessary, ensuring all ingredients are fresh and of high quality.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with hygiene, safety, and health regulations.
- Conduct regular checks on food quality, temperature, and cleanliness to meet the hotel's high standards.
- Participate in the overall operations and management of the kitchen, ensuring it runs efficiently and to the highest standards.
Qualifications
Your experience and skills include:
- Diploma or certification in Culinary Arts or equivalent.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a Demi Chef or Chef de Partie, preferably in an Italian restaurant or 4–5 star hotel.
- Strong knowledge of Italian cooking techniques, ingredients, and regional cuisines (e.g., pasta, risotto, pizza, seafood).
- Previous experience working as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role in a fine-dining restaurant or hotel
- Strong understanding of kitchen operations, food safety, and hygiene standard
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure, fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Creative and passionate about Japanese cuisine, with a keen eye for detail.
- Knowledge of food cost control, inventory management, and minimizing food waste.
- Attention to detail, with a focus on precision and consistency.
