Get to know the Role

We are looking for a Strategy & Planning Associate to lead analytical projects on growing GrabFood in Sumatra cities, while ensuring good reliability of every order being delivered by our driver-partners. We believe a successful candidate is detail-oriented, result-oriented, and has good stakeholder management skills, but if you believe you have what it takes then we’d love to hear from you either way.

The Day-to-Day Activities

  • Lead growth initiatives by improving customer experience, optimizing GrabFood campaigns and growth campaigns, running experiments to optimize driver supply and eater demand.
  • Run data analysis and create reporting to generate insights for growth and efficiency.
  • Collaborate proactively with local Sales teams as well as country teams and product teams to consistently improve order reliability and campaigns to boost visibilities, attract eaters also balance ROI of investments.
  • Monitor and improve overall city marketplace performance. This includes building processes to monitor real-time activities on the ground, and implementing operational fixes to improve eater experience and market exposures.
  • Build strong local operational processes, working with local and country teams.
  • Manage a small local team on ground operational work.

Qualifications

The Must-Haves

  • Possess Heart, Hunger, Honour and Humility
  • 1-3 years of relevant work experience in consulting, operations management, financial services, or start-up/tech industry.
  • Self-starter and independent learner who takes ownership for tasks on-hand and initiative to challenge the status quo.
  • Strong analytical ability, comfortable with analyzing data to make decisions.
  • Experience in managing people and stakeholder experience. Understand how to build processes, with great communication/interpersonal skills.
  • Fluent in English communication including reading/writing.
  • Strong working knowledge to build processes, with great communication/interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with SQL/Python is highly desired.
  • Location in Medan
