Payments Gateways Product Owner (PGPO) – Lead AXA Partners’ global PSP/PG strategy

Drive cross-functional collaboration, deliver impactful CX/UX improvements, and govern PCI DSS across 30+ countries.

What you’ll be doing:

• Purpose of the role
  • Lead the strategy and execution for AXA Partners’ Payment Service Providers (PSP) and payment gateway (PG) solutions across 30+ countries, acting as the bridge between Finance, Operations, and IT. Own back-end cash-in and cash-out processes (project work and BAU) and drive PCI DSS governance and compliance within Finance.

  • Be at the heart of a global, matrix-driven organisation, shaping a critical product that impacts customer experience (CX/UX), financial operations, and regulatory compliance. You’ll collaborate with senior stakeholders across O2C, P2P, R2R, IT, Security, and Procurement to deliver real value and continuous improvement.
• Main missions
  • Define and communicate the product vision and a roadmap from AS-IS to TO-BE; own the business case and budget for the product.
  • Manage the product backlog, prioritize by business value, and contribute new user stories to improve efficiency and CX/UX.
  • Represent the product to sponsors and governance bodies; own the Customer Experience for the PSP/PG product.
  • Collaborate day-to-day with O2C, P2P, R2R, and IT owners; make key decisions and ensure alignment with business strategy.
  • Define features for projects, maintenance, and continuous improvement; establish SLAs and performance metrics.
  • Engage with Procurement for RFP/RFI and vendor negotiations; support ongoing vendor management.
  • PCI DSS governance within Finance; work with IT and Security on burden-avoidance strategies and scope.

Ensure regulatory compliance and a customer-centric approach; uphold internal policies; anticipate broader business impacts.

What you’ll bring:

• 4+ years as Product Owner or similar in a multinational, multi-organization, multi-currency environment (B2C and B2B2C)
• Deep knowledge of transaction ecosystems (authorization, clearing, settlement, reconciliation, treasury, sanctions/compliance) and end-to-end payment flows
• In-depth knowledge of PSP/PG solutions, functionality, and pricing approaches
• ISO2700 & PCI DSS certification
• Understanding of general accounting and finance operations
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills; proficient in Agile principles
• English fluency; excellent MS Office skills.
