Job Responsibilities 

Forecasting and Planning

  • Provide near and long-range forecasting to enhance strategic decision making (strategy planning, annual profit plan, and monthly outlook)
  • Review financial results in Annual Profit Plan to ensure reasonability and consistency with overall financial objectives
  • Maintain and manage Sales Planning Tool (SPT) to ensure NAR Finance organization has the tools to support Annual Sales Planning and Outlooking processes


Manage and drive process efficiency

  • Deliver continuous improvements in the Annual Profit Planning and monthly outlook processes to drive simplification and overall reduction to the processing and cycle time of the planning process
  • Utilize knowledge of processes and systems to advise cross functional teams on appropriate data sources for analysis
  • Drive improvements in key financial processes to optimize efficiency and quality of data


Drive Analytical Insights for Process partner

  • Deliver analytical insights and influence decision-making by influencing category and channel finance leaders
  • Establish relationships with process partners in the finance organization that facilitate effective collaboration and drive positive change in our processes


Influence and lead key business decisions

  • Collaborate with individuals across North America finance organization to ensure effective and accurate financial reporting processes and internal controls
  • Serve as leader within supported operational team to ensure effective and timely decisions


Specific role description:

  • Manage Sales Planning tool to support annual Sales Planning and monthly forecast process across North American organization
    • Maintain relationship with third party support team to ensure enhancements are appropriately supported
    • Support organization training, process changes, enhancements and testing
  • Manage Profit Plan processes across Finance organization to ensure key deliverables and timelines are meant
    • Manage cross-functional meeting to ensure calendar and deliverable timing is meant
    • Including systematic reporting to support planning visibility, target alignment, P&L modeling, and Allocation management
  • Manage Cost Takeout reporting for North America including facilitation of leadership reviews/meetings
  • Manage systematic reporting with GIS & Accenture to ensure SAP, BW Copa and Global Dimensional Reporting are all aligned


Function Overview

You will lead and manage critical business and financial initiatives throughout the company. You will also influence business decisions through the analysis of major investments, drive meaningful reporting, and lead forecasting and analysis of the business. While doing so, you will have the opportunity to apply finance skills, strengthen business acumen, and accelerate your professional career in a Fortune 200 consumer products company with global presence. You will have an opportunity to work in treasury, corporate accounting, control functions or/and to supporting regional businesses in the areas of Sales, Marketing, Manufacturing, Product Development, and Procurement.


Minimum Requirements

  • BS Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 3+ years experience in Financial Planning & Analysis

  • Strong Verbal and written communication skills
  • Professional presence and proven ability to lead teams and influence others
  • Ability to communicate and interact with all levels of the organization as well as cross-functionally
  • Achievement oriented with the ability to work independently
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities within tight deadlines
  • Preferred System proficiency: SAP, BPC, Access, Business Objects, ERP system
  • Required System proficiency: Excel, Word, Powerpoint, and google tools (sheets & slides)
