IS Global Security SecOps Manager Location ABB Robotics

Are you ready to lead the charge in defending global digital infrastructure against cyber threats? At ABB Robotics, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced IS Global Security SecOps Manager to head our Security Operations Center (SOC). This is a high-impact leadership role where you will shape our threat detection, incident response, and security monitoring capabilities across all regions and digital business products.

As part of the IS Infrastructure and Information Security team, you will collaborate with senior stakeholders, IT, cloud, and application teams to ensure our systems are resilient, secure, and future-ready. You will mentor a high-performing team of analysts and drive innovation in security tooling and automation.

The position is global. The preferred locations are Polen, India, Spain, Italy, Sweden and China.

Your responsibilities:

• Lead the design, implementation, and operation of the global Security Operations Center
• Coordinate and manage incident response efforts across multiple time zones
• Oversee threat intelligence integration and proactive threat hunting activities
• Select, deploy, and manage advanced security tools including SIEM, SOAR, and endpoint protection
• Develop dashboards and reports on security posture, incident trends, and response metrics

In addition, you will collaborate on vulnerability management, participate in business continuity planning, and ensure secure configurations across IT and cloud environments. You will also play a key role in vendor governance and contribute to the delivery of ABB Robotics’ Information Security operational framework.

Your background

• 5–10 years of experience in cybersecurity, including a minimum of 3 years in a SecOps or SOC leadership role
• Proven expertise in SIEM platforms such as Splunk or Microsoft Sentinel
• Hands-on experience with EDR/XDR tools like Defender for Endpoint and strong knowledge of network protocols and forensic techniques
• Familiarity with threat modeling frameworks including MITRE ATT&CK and the cyber kill chain
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple incidents under pressure
• Relevant certifications such as GCIA, GCIH, CISSP, or CEH are highly desirable
