To develop and grow profitable Private Label business through assigned channel key
accounts, through a standardized key account management template by planning, giving
direction, control, and coordination of the sales development activities of Honeywell
products, solutions, and services for designated Key Accounts (distributors).
To define, implement and coordinate with the Honeywell sales & marketing team, the
growth strategy for the given account in line with country and company priorities and
objectives. Co-ordinates the activities of all functions with whom the customer has direct
contact to provide a consistent and cohesive service.
To monitor competitive activity at these accounts and disseminate information to relevant
parties within Honeywell
Key Responsibilities
- Plans and develops sales strategies and market penetration strategies for designated
- distributors to achieve approved revenue and profit goals
- Responsible for the launch and follow-up of conversion projects within targeted
- distributors
- Develops a yearly targeting and maintenance plan for both their distributor
- accounts and ASM’s / SAS’s / IS’s that are monitored and reported monthly
- Carries out the plan on a European level. Supports Area Sales Managers / Sales
- Application Specialists / Inside Sales to maintain & enhance the business goals and
- their knowledge as well as sales efficiency
- Ensures achievement of European sales and conversion targets delivering AOP
- Interfaces with European & Global leadership to develop optimized picture of
- market development and demand
- Interfaces with European & Global leadership to ensure a bi-directional information
- flow to support a best possible positioning of his / her team within the market
- Conducts a continuous account profile from which appropriate market strategies
- can be developed
- Interacts with Regional, EMEA & Global peers to enhance his / her knowledge and
- sales efficiency
- Conducts business intelligence hunting, summarizing & sharing of key market
- information / trends on new projects and competitor activities / initiatives through
- multiple sources.
- Builds and maintains effective stakeholder relationships and profile at regional
- decision-making levels
- Selects, negotiates price and trains specified distributors
- Represents Honeywell effectively at European specific trade shows, exhibitions, industry forums and reseller networks
Job Experience & Knowledge
- B2B Sales experience, industry experience (PPE Private Label Europe) preferred
- Knowledge of selling through distributors and end-users
- Highly experienced in consultative selling-like methodologies / approaches
- Experience in planning and managing accounts
- In-depth knowledge of his / her industry and competition
