As Rippling’s first Channel Marketing Lead, you will have a vital role in scaling the partner, channel, and reseller programs at one of the fastest growing SaaS companies.

From strategy to execution and optimization, you will own all partner, reseller, and channel marketing efforts across partner verticals -- acquiring new channel leads, developing training and certification programs, and building lifecycle programs to incentivize referrals. You should be one part teacher, two parts motivator -- equally capable of designing impactful go-to-market strategies, and conveying Rippling’s value in such a way that our partners are jumping at the chance to sell our product.

This is a unique opportunity to help drive massive revenue impact, working shoulder-to-shoulder with industry vets to build one of the most important acquisition channels for a transformative, high Net-Promoter Score product that’s backed by top-tier investors including Kleiner Perkins, Initialize, Threshold Ventures, Y Combinator and SV angel.

You will:

  • Own our rapidly-growing partner channel: work to drive acquisition of new partners, and drive deeper relationships, through advertising, training, enablement, and lifecycle marketing efforts.
  • Own partner acquisition: continuously conceptualize amazingly creative new campaigns to acquire channel partners across email, paid, events, and more.
  • Arm partners to succeed: build training and certification programs, as well as enablement content, to empower our partners to sell Rippling as if it were their own product.
  • Build Rippling’s events strategy: strategize and execute on Rippling’s events, ranging from online webinars, to HR events sponsorships, to hosting our own live events.
  • Build community among channel partners: Drive content and activation programs for channel partners to foster a sense of community and shared success.
  • Define your function: drive strategy, reporting, KPIs, tech investment, and execution.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years marketing experience, preferably in a reseller channel-facing or sales-facing role.
  • Strong writing and communications skills. You’re delightful, engaging, and able to sell like crazy.
  • Experience building sales training and enablement content and programs, ideally for channel partners.
  • Experience managing loyalty and retention programs.
  • Collaborative, inquisitive, and self-starting attitude, with a sense of humor
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, journalism, or a related field

Bonus points:

  • Experience working with insurance brokers (major bonus) or accountants
  • Experience managing events -- hosting, sponsoring, and building activations around them
  • Working knowledge of customer journey/email platforms like Salesforce and Marketo (or similar)
