Visa’s Digital Solutions and Deployment is a client facing group within the India and South Asia Product organization that sets Visa’s public digital innovation agenda, manages the development and delivery of Visa’s digital solutions in partnership with clients, industry leading brands and technology platform providers
The Senior Director, Head of Digital Solutions and Deployment - India and South Asia has primary ownership and accountability for bringing to market new Visa developed technology to ensure Visa continues hold its leadership position in driving the growth of digital payments in the region.
This role requires an experienced product management professional who has demonstrated thought leadership in development and management of the digital strategy for large organizations. The Digital Solutions and Deployment team works closely with Client Relationship Management/Account Executives team and Merchant Sales and Solutions teams as well as other stakeholders such as Processing, CyberSource, Risk, Finance, Marketing, etc. teams to deliver on projects that are typically highly complex, strategic and cross-functional in nature.
The right candidate must possess solid technical and functional understanding of payment systems, protocols and frameworks, and this must be balanced with business acumen and commercial instincts. Familiarity with technologies and systems used in payments, mobile and e-commerce; specifically, in areas of 3-D Secure, EMV, authentication, NFC, tokenization, remote payments, money transfers and push payments, as also a working knowledge of system interconnection methods (APIs, SDKs, ISO messages etc.). The candidate must also have strong coordination and project management skills so as to be able to effectively deliver on large cross-functional projects working with colleagues and partners across multiple geographies and time zones. The role also entails the development and management of a team of mid to senior product management professionals.
