GS Technical Security – Associate PM LATAM

Position Description

As a Technical Security Associate Project Manager within the Global Security Team, you will be the main interface between the bank and Technical Security Suppliers. You will be directly involved during the entire project life cycle from Concept & Initiation to Project Close representing the team and interfacing with security integrators, stakeholders and sponsors ensuring throughout the entire process that the implemented solution conforms to the bank's design and operation standards, complying with audit and internal process requirements. Your role will involve leading and implementing Technical Security Projects and Global Initiative Programs within the region, creating SOWs, Budget Oversight, Implementation and Configuration Oversight providing daily production support, managing supplier work and field task coordination. Additionally, you will support the firm's technical security suppliers through the Third-Party Oversight process throughout Latin America. This role offers the chance to work in a complex production environment and requires a self-starter with the confidence to promote issues to completion with minimal supervision.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead and implement Technical Security Projects within the production environment including an extensive and practical understanding of the applications and equipment in use.
  • Perform forecasts and capital planning while interacting with other business areas supporting purchasing and bidding processes.
  • Support the firm's technical security suppliers Third Party Oversight process (TPO) throughout Latin America.
  • Handle Supplier work and field task coordination within the region ensuring the work carried out is in accordance with the project, detecting deviations and non-compliance, bringing them to a resolution.
  • To have knowledge on third party contracts and Service Level Agreements, Contract Management and Execution while providing Technical Oversight.
  • Perform timely escalation, resolutions and follow ups on deviations and proactively identify patterns to improve service capabilities. Validate commissioning packs documentation and project acceptances. Support country security managers in alarms monitoring and investigations. Develop, document, and maintain best practices policies and KPI reports as needed. To have knowledge in Cad Design, Technical SOWs writing within firm standards for suppliers to implement and execute. Ensure all standards, regulatory and/or compliance requirements are always met. To have flexibility to support different Time Zones.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:

  • Must be able to multi-task in a complex production environment and quickly acquire broad knowledge of applications and processes.
  • Self-starter with confidence to drive issues to completion under minimal supervision.
  • ITIL Oriented. Strong Project Management, Incident Management, Change Management, Problem Management and RCA investigation skills.
  • Data Management, report design and presentation skills using MSOffice (Excel & SharePoint), Tableau.
  • Experienced Knowledge on design and implementation on Physical Access Control Systems (PACS), Video Management Systems (VMS) equipment and operation.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English (oral and writing). 
  • Analytical thinking and problem solving.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Experienced running security technology equipment and applications Lenel & Genetec.
  • Experienced handling technical personnel and Suppliers
  • Experience leading third party support services, contract management and contract execution.
  • Experience writing technical requirements scope of work (SOW).
  • Trainings & Certifications: ITIL, LENEL S2
  • Portuguese Language, effective reading, writing and oral communication skills.
