The Infor Decision Analytics and Science (IDeAS) team is responsible for setting the innovation strategy at Infor. We are a diverse, well-integrated, and customer-focused team of data scientists, data engineers, solution architects, application developers, and science solution managers with an ambitious vision to enable enterprise Machine Learning (ML) for all Infor customers across multiple industries and segments.

Project Manager in IDeAS represents a liaison between various stakeholders to build data-centric products. As a project manager, you will be defining various industry use cases and performing market assessments, mapping out personas, building story maps, and coordinating among various teams on execution, branding, and storytelling. A successful candidate is expected to bring passion for AI/ML and data-related implementations; solid business acumen and judgment; ability to balance strategy, governance, and implementation; desire to have an industry-wide impact and ability to work within a fast-moving environment in a large company to promote decision analytics across various industry verticals.

Position responsibilities include:

• Leading discussions with customers to identify potential problems that can be solved using machine learning, optimization, and other analytical approaches
• Acting as a subject matter expert on all data science systems and Infor technologies
• Working with scientists and engineers to support the transformation of prototypes and PoCs to products and diagnose science-related bugs, supporting technical analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and deployment
• Communicating technical concepts and challenges in machine learning space to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Defining, measuring, creating business intelligence reports, and communicating key metrics for team progress and value delivered
• Participating in the development process including activities such as sprint reviews, science testing, user acceptance testing, etc
• Taking ownership of risk mitigation and solving issues as they arise
• Data visualization tools such as Tableau, Birst, Power BI or similar

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelors (or foreign equivalent) in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related discipline from an accredited university
• 2-5 years' experience implementing analytics data driven software solutions
• Demonstrated real-world experience in defining personas, developing story maps, gathering requirements, building workflows, preparing roadmaps, and producing qualitative and quantitative industry business cases
• Strong analytical skills and good working knowledge of Machine Learning, and data concepts.
• Strong verbal/written communication and presentation skills
• Ability to come up and perform data storytelling
• Self-starter with a passion for analytics and data-related implementations.
