What does the Activation Specialist - Small Store do at Swire Coca-Cola? 

The activation specialist will work as a part of the Commercial Channel Team and other cross functional partners to assist in developing programs and promotions for Small Store channel customers. Using various strategies and metrics the specialist ensures all programming aligns with brand, innovation, commercial, and channel focuses. Supporting multiple projects and tasks of the team with continuous deliverables required, the specialist keeps the program moving in though development to meet crucial key deadlines.

Responsibilities:

  • Supports the Commercial Channel team with key projects, to keep development of deliverables on task to meet crucial deadlines.
  • Coordinate and communicate all Point-of-Sale (POS) order reviews through the creation and placement process.
  • Work with the Creative Development team to ensure all custom POS packaging, coupons etc., protect the company’s rights, trademarks and investment while serving the best interest of our customers.
  • Partner with various merchandising vendors on established custom projects to ensure they produce POS items that are aligned with Swire’s standards, support the team’s strategies and Picture of Success (PicOS).
  • Help negotiate pricing/quotes and merchandising enhancements with vendors to ensure Swire is getting the best, most cost-effective solutions.
  • Assist in developing program materials and merch tools that will deliver desired promotional ROIs.
  • Budget management and creative solutions solving.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma (or GED) with relevant business experience required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or Communications preferred.
  • 2+ years Sales/Marketing experience within Consumer Product Goods or Beverages industry required.
  • Experience calling on Retail Customers – closing the sale and increasing revenue required.
