Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic Intern engineering to join our highly motivated software team, based in Arm’s Israeli design centre in Kfar Netter. The team is responsible for the device-side development of an Arm’s security related product, which serves the IoT and Mobile market.

What will you be accountable for?

You will take part in developing C embedded software and infrastructures, and become familiar with industry standard tools and methodologies for software development,

You will would be expected to contribute 2 days per week or more.

You will be involved in the development of our security related product, which interacts with external Arm services and runs on IoT and mobile devices.

We are always evaluating new and improved development tools, techniques and methodologies – you should embrace this ongoing innovation process and become part of it.

Responsibilities include:

  • C Development over Linux and Embedded OS
  • Python Development
  • Cryptographic system testing and debugging
  • System analysis of cryptographic features / application

Job Requirements

What skills, experience and qualifications do you need?

Essential:

  • You are enrolled in an academic institution in Israel, at least in their second year, studying for a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or Computer Engineering.
  • You have academic experience in C programming
  • You are available to work two days a week (on-site in our Kfar Netter office) during the year. Additional working days expected during academic vacations.
  • You have real passion for software development that goes beyond your studies
  • Your have strong interpersonal and communication skills - excellent written and spoken English
  • You are self-learner, and dedicated
  • You have a creative and structured approach to problem-solving

Desirable:

  • You have hands-on experience in developing in C
  • You are familiar with Python, and cryptography

About the office

The engineers at Arm Kfar Netter focus on providing hardware security IP and software for advanced system-on-chip components deployed in mobile devices and the fast growing Internet of Things (IoT) market. The office is located 30 minutes north of Tel Aviv in the central coastal plain near the city of Netanya, a popular tourist destination.
