Junior Full Stack Software Engineer (BIG - IQ DNS)

POSITION SUMMARY: 
In this role you will join an Agile SCRUM team of software engineers. You will take over full features ownership of key components of F5's centralized management system - BIG-IQ.

That includes end-to-end responsibility for all development phases: design, implementation, and automation testing. 

Coding will be done in both client side and server side.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Implement (code and test) to defined set of requirements
  • Document software designs via functional specifications and other design documents

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Client side technologies: Javascript, AngularJS, HTML, CSS - Some level of hands-on experience is a big advantage
  • Java - Very good knowledge of object oriented design and concurrency. 
  • Knowledge of one or more of the following technologies is a big plus:
    MongoDB, REST APIs, ElasticSearch

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Duties are performed in a normal office environment while sitting at a desk or computer table.
  • Duties require the ability to utilize a computer, communicate over the telephone, and read printed material.
  • Duties may require working outside normal working hours (evenings and weekends) at times.
