Job Overview
TE Connectivity's Transportation Teams are responsible for the coordination and consolidation of domestic and international systems to support shipments. They ensure lowest cost transportation is used by analyzing company and customer needs, researching transportation methods auditing carrier compliance as per TE policy and measuring performance.
The main objectives of the Carrier Manager EMEA are to manage global tenders, manage carrier KPI’s, establish internal/external productivity opportunities and continuously benchmark current TE rates against market.
In addition, he/she is the main point of contact on transportation to some of our business units (BU’s, internal customers) and will work with them to provide full support on improvement initiatives.
TE Connectivity purchases all transportation modes, i.e. ocean (FCL, LCL), air, road (LTL, FTL, milk runs), rail, small parcel and premium freight services (same day, OBC’s etc.). Focus of this role will be global air and ocean including international small pack.
