A Day in the Life

In this Customer Service Representative role, you will: 

  • Be the key point of contact for internal and external customers to answer product related questions, track shipments, communicate the orders clearly with the shipping department and connect the customers with appropriate support channels.
  • Maximize service level by following allocations, deductions and adjustment of stock, special price quotations and bids, managing inventories at customer facilities using EDI (Electronic Data Interchange); and controlling Goods in Transit reports.
  • Manage web-based order or registrations, confer with management regarding customer credits, return goods for credit, identify quality assurance complaints, and write price differentials on mail orders.
  • Issue the sales invoices of related departments for hospitals, prepare pro forma invoices, control the issued invoices, and prepare delivery notes such as other information and documents to be sent along with the invoices and submit them to the hospitals by working in coordination with the related sales representative.
  • Follow up custom clearance procedures by working in coordination with customs clearance and ensuring that the products are delivered to the warehouse in time.
  • Follow up back-orders by taking the weekly Open Order list and inform the departments about back-orders, perform the necessary transactions on the products that fell to back order and ensure the shipment of these products.
  • Reconcile consigned materials with department sales representatives and service providers monthly, while managing documentation for FOC issuances and discards, including issuing invoices and processing deductions

Must Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Excellent interpersonal and time-management skills
  • Good command of English both written and verbal
  • Good command of MS Office Programs and SAP Order

Nice to Haves

  • Strong organizational and coordination skills as well as detail-orientation
  • Ability to work and lead in cross-functional teams
  • Experience in using SAP
