Applied Materials’ Micron Account Team is searching for an intern to join our team in summer 2024! The field sales operations team is located in Boise, Idaho supporting an industry leading customer. The position will entail the following:

  • Ownership of critical PPACT projects to drive value capture throughout our hardware fleet in Fab4 and drive these initiatives to success in HVM fabs
  • Drive critical sustainability projects to support customer’s eSUS requirements using Applied’s cutting edge GHG (green house gas) and sustainability related software
  • Develop and manage safety database and POR (process of record) requirements using AI related software to improve uptime and reduce critical down events in the fab
  • Work closely between Etch and CVD to develop initiatives for co-optimization and improvement using newly developed AI analysis tools
  • Develop and implement new BKMs to improve hardware productivity related to wafer fault tracking and tool recovery
  • Work with Applied Materials and customer confidential data to drive key eSUS initiatives
  • Utilize data analysis skills to interpret and present conclusions in customer-friendly presentations

Requirements

  • Student must be at least a Junior pursuing a Bachelor’s degree program in Materials Science Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
  • Student must be in good academic standing at their university, with a preferred GPA of 3.25 or above on a 4.0 scale
  • Familiarity with large data sets, python (or other language), JMP/Tableau/Matlab a plus
  • Performs routine assignments in an entry level to a professional job progression.
  • Typically has knowledge of and exposure to fundamental theories, principles, and concepts.

Compensation 

$28 - $30 per hour

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on a number of factors including location and education level and will vary depending on confirmed job-related knowledge, skills, and experience
