Position Summary
Lead Microsoft Power BI and Power Apps Developer to drive the design, development, and deployment of enterprise-grade business intelligence and low-code applications. This role will lead a team of developers and analysts, collaborating closely with business stakeholders to transform data into actionable insights and streamline business processes through custom applications.
The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in the Microsoft Power Platform, including Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse, as well as a strong understanding of data modeling, governance, and integration with enterprise systems.
Reports To: Vice President, Enterprise Applications
Position Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture, development, and implementation of Power BI dashboards and Power Apps solutions.
- Collaborate with business units to gather requirements and translate them into scalable, user-friendly applications and reports.
- Establish best practices for data visualization, app design, performance optimization, and security.
- Mentor and guide junior developers and analysts on Power Platform capabilities and development standards.
- Integrate Power Platform solutions with Microsoft 365, Azure services, and other enterprise systems (e.g., Dynamics 365, SQL Server, SharePoint).
- Manage lifecycle of applications and reports including versioning, documentation, and support.
- Ensure compliance with data governance, security policies, and accessibility standards.
- Stay current with Microsoft Power Platform updates and recommend adoption of new features.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field
- 7+ years of experience in business intelligence, application development, or enterprise systems integration.
- 7+ years of hands-on experience with the Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse).
- Deep expertise in Power BI (data modeling, DAX, visualization best practices, performance optimization).
- Strong experience with Power Apps (canvas & model-driven apps) and Power Automate workflows.
- Knowledge of Dataverse and data governance practices.
- Proficiency in SQL Server, Azure services, Dynamics 365, SharePoint, and integration with enterprise systems.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC), agile methodologies, and version control.
- Understanding of security, compliance, and accessibility standards in enterprise environments.
- Proven ability to gather business requirements and translate them into scalable, user-friendly applications and dashboards.
- Experience mentoring and coaching junior developers and analysts.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to partner with both business and technical teams.
- Demonstrated success in establishing best practices for BI and low-code development.
- Up-to-date knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform roadmap and features.
- Travel: 20-25%- Travel to facilities, vendor meetings, conferences, and regulatory interactions

Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field
- Relevant certifications strongly preferred (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Solution Architect Expert, Power BI Data Analyst Associate, or Azure certifications)
