The Opportunity 

Our Business Development Representative is the first point of contact new leads will have with Hubdoc. The BDR is responsible for educating new leads on the benefits of Hubdoc and providing them with a fantastic first impression. One of your objectives is to encourage the leads to schedule a demo with an Account Executive (AE). The BDR will support the AE through the entire sales lifecycle and will have the opportunity to contribute to all areas of the sales organization, including working closely with management.

You will work to a monthly goal and thrive in a fast paced, targeted environment. This role is an essential part of our business and offers great scope for growth and development. Excellent training and support will be provided.

Some of the things you will do on a typical day:

  • Qualifying leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities

  • Prioritizing and organizing the lead pipeline for maximum efficiency every single day

  • Reaching out to potential clients through cold calls and emails

  • Booking meetings between prospective clients and Account Executives

  • Accurately recording and tracking all sales activities in Salesforce

You are the ideal candidate if you:

  • Are passionate about sales, software, mobile and technology

  • Possess a strong ability to multi-task and prioritize, whilst maintaining attention to detail

  • Are high energy and always have a ‘can-do’ attitude

  • Thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

  • Are motivated and results driven, you have worked towards quotas and killed them

  • Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal (emoji written skills excluded)

  • Have experience in a SaaS company or B2B sales
