The Registered Dietitian works with other members of the health care team to assess, educate and promote optimal nutrition, eating behaviors, feeding skills and health status of patients/clients seen in the Gundersen Health System and in the community.
Major Responsibilities:
1. Develops and implements individualized nutrition care plans based on regulatory standards for Gundersen Health System patients and facilities served.
2. Develops materials and provides nutrition education to patients and staff of Gundersen Health System, facilities served and the community.
3. Works as part of an interdisciplinary team in achieving and implementing departmental and organizational goals.
4. Participates in quality improvement activities, contributes ideas and demonstrates a commitment to make improvements in the quality of services provided at Gundersen Health System.
5. Performs other job-related responsibilities as assigned.
Education and Learning:
REQUIRED
Bachelor's degree in Dietetics

License and Certifications:
REQUIRED
Registered as a Dietitian with Commission on Dietetic Registration (RD) and
Registered Dietitian State Certification or Licensure (CD) in the state(s) of practice
