EMEA Retail Events & Customer Engagement Specialist (m/f)

Your responsibilities:
  • Plan, organize and coordinate events from start to finish that will make an impact on diverse target audiences and reach key events KPIs such as lead generation, driving brand awareness, customer acquisition and customer retention.
  • You will ensure that events are successful and cost-effective, preparing and adhering to event budgets and paying attention to time constrains.
  • You will be responsible for diverse retail & property events for the ShopperTrak, TrueVUE, and Sensormatic brands in the EMEA Region
  • You will coordinate events with other team members in sales, product/solutions management, finance, marketing, digital, as well as external agencies and suppliers for event support
Your profile:
  • Bachelor’s Degree (Event Management, Hospitality Management, or Business/Marketing)
  • Min. 4-5 years of experience in international event management
  • Strong working knowledge of Excel, Power Point, Word
  • Experience in full event budget management
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Outstanding communications and negotiation skills, ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to multiple audiences, from executive management to peers, to front line employees
  • Technical-affinity and ability to work with technical teams creating complex product/solution demonstrations (staging and trial phases)
  • Action oriented / strong business acumen / logical thinker
  • Managing supplier relations
  • Customer and service oriented
  • Ability to lead and participate in cross-functional teams in a highly matrixed environment
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time, including long days and weekends
  • Ability to speak, read and write in both English and German fluently, Spanish or French is an asset
  • Ability to work under pressure and stress management
