Wholesale Banking provides financial solutions to businesses across the United States and globally, with annual sales generally in excess of $5 million. Our 10 major business lines include Business Banking, Middle Market Banking, Government and Institutional Banking, Corporate Banking, Commercial Real Estate, Financial Institutions Group, Wells Fargo Commercial Capital, Wells Fargo Insurance, Wells Fargo Securities, and Principal Investments. We also have groups in credit risk, group risk, finance, marketing, human relations, and the Wholesale Chief Operating Office that support our businesses.

WFS Operations

The Client Onboarding and Maintenance Process Analyst 3 is responsible for planning, executing and finalizing business initiatives according to the client onboarding and account data strategic objectives. This individual develops deadlines, raises issues, and monitor­s progress across the client data change portfolio. This Product Delivery role builds and maintains strong working relationships with internal stakeholders as well as external counterparts.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Product Delivery team by serving as a point of contact to internal and external stakeholders for Client Data’s change portfolio
  • Manage the Client Onboarding and Account Data strategic plan:
    • Work with Client Data and Shared Services leadership to continuously review and refine the objectives of the Client Data Operations team.
    • Forecast strategic milestones and schedule
    • Communicate deadlines and expectations across all involved parties
    • Ensure change portfolio is on schedule through reviewing workstream status’ on a weekly basis
  • Ensure appropriate team members are included in ongoing communication
  • Communicate with Middle Office, Front Office and Technology teams regarding status of change portfolio
  • Partner with Client Data team on defining ideal states, and managing available budget to achieving them
  • Produce strategy decks and reports as required

They are accountable for execution of all applicable risk programs (Credit, Market, Financial Crimes, Operational, Regulatory Compliance), which includes effectively following and adhering to applicable Wells Fargo policies and procedures, appropriately fulfilling risk and compliance obligations, timely and effective escalation and remediation of issues, and making sound risk decisions. There is emphasis on proactive monitoring, governance, risk identification and escalation, as well as making sound risk decisions commensurate with the business unit’s risk appetite and all risk and compliance program requirements.



Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of operations analysis experience



Desired Qualifications

  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of business processes analysis and enhancing operations to accomplish business objectives
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of financial controls and risk
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
  • 5+ years of capital markets experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of project management methodologies: process improvements, continuous improvement, or LEAN
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, LiveMeeting and SharePoint) skills



Other Desired Qualifications

 

  • Knowledge and understanding of business processes analysis and enhancing Operations to accomplish business objectives
  • Highly motivated individual with ability to drive results through leadership.
  • Knowledge of how risk is managed and controlled within Operations, and specifically around client data.
  • Experience of project management including program level reporting, and evidence of decision making through prioritization process.
  • Ability to identify strategic opportunities and make specific recommendations.
  • Aptitude to structure multiple tasks and work in an organized manner under pressure and time constraints.
  • Flexibility to manage multiple distinct work streams simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated capacity to develop relationships and work with multiple departments (e.g. Sales & Trading, Middle/Back Office, Finance, Compliance, Technology, Collateral, Reconciliations).
  • Knowledge of Capital Markets and trade lifecycle for Prime Broker, Broker Dealer, Futures Commission Merchant, OTC Derivatives, etc. products a plus
