Job Description 

Looking for an experienced HR Audits and Compliance (Labour Compliances) Specialist. Candidate will be responsible for ensuring the company's HR policies, procedures, and practices comply with state laws and regulations. The candidate will work closely with internal HR teams and auditors (external and internal) to ensure that all HR processes and procedures meet legal/ audit requirements. 

Level – Assistant Manager or Manager 

Experience – 7-10 years

Key Skills – Human Resources, Audits, HR Compliance, Labour Compliances, HR Processes, Stakeholder Management 

Qualification – Graduate or Post Graduate degree in HR, Business Administration or related field

Roles and Responsibilities

Handling Statutory compliances and HR Audits – PAN GDS

Audits

  • Strong understanding of HR Audit process (Scope definition, Audit Preparation, Audit Execution, Report, Observations and Closures)
  • Partner with HR Audit team to ensure the scope of audit is well defined and calendarized 
  • Support in HR Audit preparedness by working closely with HR Process owners 
  • Collaborate with Process Owners to develop and implement corrective actions to address observations/ gaps
  • Audit closure meeting with respective regions post completing the audits 
  • To complete the HR audits on timely basis 
  • Improving HR processes and ensuring good audit scores 
  • Support in developing and rolling out play book for all stakeholders 

Compliance 

  • Conduct regular review of HR policies, procedures, and practices to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of federal and state labor laws and regulations, 
  • Handling renewal licenses and inspections of various government departments 
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with laws and regulations
  • Conduct training and awareness on HR compliance-related topics
  • Monitor and report on compliance-related metrics, including audit findings and corrective actions
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR compliance records

Other requirements 

  • In-depth knowledge of federal and state labor laws and regulations
  • Certification in HR Compliance preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; 
  • Adaptability to process changes, and a strong sense of importance and ownership
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
